Photography Workshop Policies

1. REGISTRATION & TUITION: A booking deposit and completed Registration Form will secure your reservation for any workshop, based on availability. Deposit and additional workshop payments may be made by check, money order, MasterCard, or VISA. All monies must be received by the date or dates indicated for each specific workshop. Workshop fees may vary based on length and location of workshop, travel arrangements, lodging, meals, and in some cases, taxes and gratuities. Workshop fees are quoted in US dollars and must be paid in the same. If any required payments are not made, we reserve the right to treat your reservation as cancelled (see item 3 regarding cancellations).

2. GUEST RATES: In some cases allowances are made for non-photographing guest(s) to accompany a participating photographer (one who enrolls in a photo workshop). Please inquire about any applicable fees that may result, as costs may vary from workshop to workshop. Please note that some workshops include lodging, meals, and recreation for non-photographing guests, while other workshops simply offer the opportunity to travel with and accompany the photographer.

3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Cancellations on the part of the participant must be made in writing and received by our office by US mail, courier, or email (see schedule below). A phone call from the participant is also recommended to confirm the receipt of his or her written cancellation. Cancellation fees/dates are as follows on all workshops:

   • 120 days or more before starting date = full refund minus a $100 processing fee
   • 90 days to 119 days before starting date = a 50% refund of the workshop fee
   • 60 days to 89 days before starting date = a 25% refund of the workshop fee
   • 59 days or less = *no refund

   If payments are made by check or money order, any appropriate refund will be made by check. If payments are made by credit card, any refund may be credited to the same credit card (unless special arrangements are made otherwise. Such decisions are made only by Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures.

   WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO PURCHASE TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE FOR YOUR BENEFIT. Considering all possibilities for: airline strikes and/or problems, natural disasters and acts of God, death of an immediate family member, personal illness, or other major unforeseen reasons, we advise you to seriously consider obtaining this type of insurance to protect your investment. Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures, it workshop instructors, employees, or assigns are not responsible for losses incurred by a cancelled workshop.

   *Under certain circumstances (as those mentioned in the above paragraph), you may request that our office consider applying any forfeited payments or monies toward a future workshop to 12-month period following the original booking. All decisions are solely made by the administration of Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures. All requests are given our fullest attention and serious consideration.

   Cancellations or rescheduling of workshops on the part of Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures may be made certain foreboding circumstances beyond the control of Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures. We also retain the right to cancel or reschedule any when inadequate enrollment makes the trip economically unfeasible for our company. In those rare cases, advance notice of 30 days will be made, and a full refund of all tuition monies will be made within 30 days. However, we will not be responsible for additional loses or expenses incurred by the workshop participant and/or his or her non-photographing guests, such as airline tickets, airline cancellation fees, travel insurance, and other related charges. Please be assured, however, that it is with the utmost consideration that we ever consider such cancellations.

4. SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: Whether the workshop in which you are participating is held on private, public, or government lands, you agree to abide by all rules, restrictions, and ordinances governing such lands and property. You also agree to respect the rights of other workshop participants, leaders, and those providing services to or for said workshop. Failure to comply with any governing rules or authority may result in the removal of the participant from said workshop or related activity with no provisions for refund.

   All workshop schedules are tentative (subjects, events, and times). Itineraries are subject to change without prior notice due to weather and other environmental conditions, direct or indirect logistical arrangements, transportation plans, health conditions of workshop participants and/or instructors, employees, or assigns, and/or any other factors deemed to be relevant by Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures. However, we will make every effort to include just as many photographic and/or instructional opportunities to the participants if changes are made. More often, when changes occur, itineraries will simply be rearranged and/or replacement activities of equal value will be substituted.

5. MODEL RELEASE: You consent that any and all photographs and/or video tapes made of you or that include you or your property may be used by Jividen's "Naturally Wild" Photo Adventures and/or its assigns in promotional and/or advertising efforts for no fee and/or compensation.

6. EQUIPMENT, GEAR, AND FILM: It is the responsibility of each participant to bring and provide his or her own equipment, gear, and film. A suggested list of items to bring is available upon request or from our website (see Gear, Gadgets & Gizmos), but it is a suggested list only and does not replace personal preferences and one's possibly limited resources or health restrictions.

7. RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER: All workshop participants and/or non-photographing guests must agree to all terms and conditions of the aforementioned "Workshop Policies" and the following "Release & Assumption of Risk" waiver. This agreement is a prerequisite and condition to participating in or taking part of any and all workshops or events with Images Unique Nature & Wildlife Photo Adventures. YOUR PAYMENT FOR ANY WORKSHOP OR EVENT WITH THIS COMPANY, CONSTITUTES FULL AGREEMENT TO SAID POLICIES AND WAIVER, AND IS AS BINDING AS YOUR SIGNATURE. Refusal to agree to this waiver automatically cancels and/or revokes your registration to participate; and your registration and/or enrollment is considered as a cancellation.
